PROGRAMME CONTENT
An Emergency Medical Care Technology can be defined as “a comprehensive system which provides the arrangements of personnel, facilities and equipment for the effective, coordinated and timely delivery of health and safety services to victims of sudden illness or injury.
ABOUT THE PROGRAMME
During the course, candidates are educated to provide timely care to victims of sudden and life- threatening injuries or emergencies in order to prevent mortality or long-term morbidity. It includes pre-hospitalisation care and care in emergency department.
Class 12th Minimum qualifying percentage is 40%.
Duration: 3 year programme plus 1 year of clinical training/internship.
Eligibility: A minimum percentage or equivalent aggregate 40% is required at the level of 12th examinations, conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) or any other recognized state board of the country.
SCOPE
Graduate of B.Sc. Emergency Medical Care Technology have numerous job opportunities not only in India but all over the world. After successful completion of the course, one can find job in various government and private hospitals.
